The Z1000 has a 1,043cc inline-four engine with DFI, a lightweight aluminum frame, a fully adjustable inverted front fork, horizontal rear monoshock which features stepless rebound damping and spring preload adjustability, and the radial-mounted four-piston front brake calipers and a radial-pump front brake master cylinder combined with 300mm discs create excellent stopping power.
